Chris, Ginny, & Kids

I loved that this family wrapped up my "mini-session marathon". :) Emmalyn ran up, so excited to see me (though I think she was a bit disappointed Avery wasn't with me :)). Ginny looked so amazing! Barret was pretty stoic for the most part, but Chris got some great smiles out of him toward the end. Emmalyn was great as usual - I love her big happy smile! Last year our shoot was SO cold, so this was a welcome change (though I think we were all sweating horribly by the end)!

Craig, Leah, Caleb, Claire, & Caitlin

I know it's been a year since their shoot last fall, but it's crazy how much kids can grow and change in  that amount of time! Craig and Leah are light-hearted and fun, and their kids take after them. :) Claire was so cute with her posing, Caitlin gave the biggest smiles, and Caleb had great silly faces. ;) Craig and Leah are in ministry as well, so that's always a fun connection. We had a fun shoot - and the kids did great!

Elisha, Sarah, & Gizmo

It was fun to see Sarah - and I must admit it made me feel a little bit old! :) My sister used to babysit her years ago...! Now she's married with a cute little puppy dog! Sarah and Elisha are so cute - and even though Elisha would tell you otherwise, he's quite photogenic. :) Gizmo was so sweet - and did great looking at the camera!

Casey, Angie, Lena, & Claire

I was so excited to see this family! I consider them dear friends, but unfortunately I hadn't seen them since last year for Lena's one-year pics! Now Lena is an older sister - to sweet baby Claire. :) Claire slept through the whole session, and Lena said "cheese" a hundred times in her cute little voice. We wanted to get a sister picture, and Lena is so cute and tiny that she had a hard time holding Claire - but we got it! :)

Ryan, Renee, & Jack

I thought I was meeting this family for the first time, but we realized we had met before! I helped shoot the wedding of Renee's best friend, so she was a bridesmaid in it. Then, I shot a wedding where Ryan was one of the groomsmen! It is a small world... :) Jack is so cute! He's close in age to my Ezra, so I really enjoyed him! He is a sweetheart and listened so well! Renee and Ryan did well, too. ;)

Deah

This woman is beautiful inside and out... and I have her to thank for my husband - because she's his mom. :) This was the first time taking pictures of her and we had so much fun! I love her smile - and her eyes remind me of Joe. I'm thankful for her and love her dearly. I love that she was my first shoot during my "mini-session marathon"! :) Thanks for letting me take your pictures, Deah!

Jared, Brandy, Henry, Ethan, & Kennedy

Brandy had the great idea of doing our shoot at a pumpkin patch. We didn't plan on it being hot, though. :) It was definitely better than being cold! The kids had grown just since their June pictures! Henry was so good at smiling when asked. Ethan has the cutest squint-eyed laugh, and Kennedy constantly has her tongue out. They are so cute! Ethan and Henry brought their soccer balls to play with - so fun! :) Jared and Brandy, you have a beautiful family! Thanks for braving the heat, making the drive, and letting me take your pictures!

Ashton, Cale, Landon, & Reece

Kristen and Jeff have four (adorable) boys - and another boy due next month! Seriously, these boys are beyond cute. Not only that, but they are fun, silly, AND good listeners! I was impressed with how each of the boys acted during our shoot. I got SO many shots in just 30 minutes, it was hard to narrow them down! It was fun to see the brothers interact - Ashton (the oldest) was great at helping Reece (the youngest) sit still. Cale (2nd born) always gave a smile and Landon (3rd born) was the goofball with the cute toothless smile! :) We shot at a park I hadn't shot at before, and it was gorgeous. It was perfectly overcast (and even a bit warm). I had a blast! I love the last shot - the boys being "tough". :) Kristen, it was wonderful to meet you and your family - good luck as you welcome your 5th boy! :)

Lindsay, Liam, & Simon

I have had the privilege and honor of watching Liam grow up through pictures - he's getting so big! Now I'm honored to include Simon in that! It's always fun to see Lindsay, too. ;) We planned this fall session quite a while back... not knowing it would be almost 80 degrees out! The boys did great - it was so cute watching them interact. Simon smiles for Liam in the sweetest way! Both of these boys love their mama... so adorable. We had beautiful colors to shoot around! Liam wanted to wear his leather jacket to match his mom... so precious.

Tim, Denise, & their family

I love this family. My husband does, too. In fact - he was jealous I got to hang out with them to take their pictures. :) Maybe next time I'll send Joe to do the shoot... ;) Denise had taken the time to scout some beautiful spots for us - soooo pretty! I love new locations! Thatcher and Colt are so cute! Thatcher wanted to explore everything. Colt would stop whatever he was doing and smile if you sang "The itsy bitsy spider" (or a variety of other songs). As I was taking a large family photo, two people riding horses went past us! That's a first on a shoot for me! They let the kids pet the horses - SO nice of them! When I was taking a picture of Tim and Denise with their grandsons, the parents were behind me singing and being all sorts of silly to get the kids to look/smile. I had to capture that... :) Overall we had a great shoot - with great weather!

Trevor : Senior

I hadn't done a morning shoot in a long time, but I'm SO glad that's what worked out for Trevor's senior pictures! The light was gorgeous, there was no wind, and the temperature was perfect. Trevor has so many interests and talents. He can play a variety of instruments, loves to read, enjoys learning, and will be going to college to become an engineer. We started at a favorite location of mine, then headed to Trevor's dad's house for the rest. What a great idea! We were able to tie in some sentimental things that represent how much he has grown/changed. There is a willow tree in his dad's back yard that was just a small tree when he was little... then the dock he used to play on... and his childhood treehouse! I don't know if Trevor was as excited as his mom and I were, but I thought it was pretty cool.

Trevor - have a great senior year, and early congrats to you on graduating!
