John, Johanna, Roan, & Liam

What a sweet family. These brothers were so kind toward each other - and listened so well! It was evident in their interactions that this family has a lot of fun together. I love the candid shots we got of them! A lovely day, a lovely family, and a lovely session!

I met this family when I took pictures at Lucy's 4th birthday party (so fun!). I was excited to take pictures of their whole family! We had a beautiful fall day... okay, maybe it was a little chilly... but the kids were great and we got the session done fast! :)

Jeff, Trish, & Lily

Jeff is a Packers fan, Trish is a Vikings fan, and Lily is a Falcons fan. (Y'all know I'm with Jeff on this one...) but in spite of their sports differences, this sweet family has such wonderful dynamics. :) I love the way they look at each other! They just moved into a new house (so pretty!) and Trish had the idea for them to wear their Christmas pajama pants for some of their pictures. LOVE. So festive and fun! The porch was the perfect setting (that red door!) and we had beautiful light.

Brian, Kelly, & Kids

I recently met Kelly through homeschooling and the hybrid school Ezra goes to. Her son Braden seems to always be smiling! It was fun to meet the rest of the family - Brian, Sedona, and Daniel (and their dog Konda - not sure if I spelled that right), too! I loved that they came ready to hike in their hiking clothes. I feel like their pictures represent the "normal" day-to-day and that is so precious. One of my favorite shots is one of Kelly - smiling so sweetly as her children were climbing all over her.

My kids were bummed that I got to see Teo and they didn't. I tried to tell them it wasn't all fun and games... but we did have a good time on this shoot! Cat invited her parents to join in (they're staying with them for a while) and I'm so glad they came. Teo was such a good listener - and was willing to put off kicking dirt until we finished. ;)

Brooks, Lindsey, & Kids

This shoot was so fun. I had a cancellation the day before and Lindsey happened to contact me that day - I'm so impressed she was willing to schedule a shoot the NEXT day! It goes without saying, but look how beautiful this family is! Lindsey and Brooks have Woody (4) and Gaines (2). They just added a sweet baby girl one month ago - Mae Stanley! The boys were so cute - they kept making me laugh! They were a little unsure of holding Miss Mae Stanley, but they were so gentle and sweet with her! It was an honor taking their first pictures as a family of five!
