Liam : 1 year

Can you believe Liam is ONE??

Liam is the first kiddo that I've consistently taken photos of from birth through one year (besides my own of course :)).  It has been so fun to watch him grow!!  His Daddy (Brent) recently came back home from serving overseas, and it was wonderful to see Liam with him.

Brent's grandparents let us use their property for the shoot.  It was perfect!  Liam got to hear a real cow moo (right behind us) for the first time, and it suprised him (and us)!  He was a bit scared of the cow (who kept following us), but really liked the chickens.  Between the cows moo-ing, chickens clucking, and rooster crowing, we had quite the background music for our shoot! :) Liam has become a pro for our little shoots... as you'll see below.

In case you don't remember, I thought I'd take us on a little trip down memory lane...

And that brings us to my favorites from our one-year session on Monday:

Seester Belly

I cannot put into words how much I love my sister.  I won't go too mushy on ya, but let's just say that there were never such devoted sisters... literally.  Is the song in your head now?

Anywho, one of the most precious things I share with my sister is being a mom.  We were pregnant together with our first kids (though we didn't overlap much).  Malachi was born 5 1/2 months before Avery.  They're best friends and it's awesome.  This time, we shared almost our entire pregnancies... we were/are less than 8 weeks apart!

I just had my sweet baby BOY (still surprised :)) on October 14th... and my sister is just shy of 35 weeks, but it looks like her boy (Jericho) will come a bit early - yay!  I can't wait for our baby boys to grow up together.

Oh yes, pictures!  Cassy Sage, Aaron, and Malachi met me at the park to get some maternity pictures before this little guy makes his appearance.  I'm honored they chose me... though they're pretty much stuck with me. :)

As soon as we got out of the car, Cassy Sage made a new friend.  A squirrel.  She even named him... but my mommy brain is blanking on the name. :( We joked that the squirrel wanted to be in our pictures.  Guess he heard us, because he stuck around!  He came up really close and we have quite a few pictures with our new furry friend in them!  Hilarious.

Can you see him??

Now for my favorites from today...

I love you, SEESTER!!

I truly cannot wait to meet Jericho and share yet another thing with you... mothering TWO kids.  Let the crazy fun years begin! :)
