Garrett, Kristen, Merridy, & William

I was so excited when Kristen asked me to take their family photos. Kristen was one of the very first people to reach out to me from Atlanta and she's helped me navigate this big place in a variety of ways. :) Our kids are close in age, too! Kristen had a wonderful location picked out for us. It is such a neat place! After a few days of sun, we didn't have any for this shoot, but it made it easy to use a number of spots! Merridy and William are so cute - and so much fun.

Cameron, Shannon, Jack, Palmer, & Mac

This session was fun for a number of reasons. First, I got to meet Shannon. :) She was the winner of a mini-session that I donated to a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta fundraiser. We found out we both go to the same MOPS group (yet we'd never met)! Our MOPS is huge. Second, I got to explore a new area and trail. I'm thankful Cameron and Shannon were so laid back - we ended up walking much further than I anticipated! It was beautiful though. Last, I just enjoyed taking pictures of their three sweet kids! Jack was helpful, Palmer and I bonded over owl jammies, and Mac was chill the entire time. :)

Andy, Raechel, Luke, & Reece

I just have to say it - Atlanta is BEAUTIFUL. I mean... sheesh. I will never run out of locations for photo shoots here! This spot is just 10 minutes from my house! The light was beautiful, and so was this family. We had fun exploring, and the kids were great about stopping for pictures along the way. :) Raechel and Andy are so fun (we ended with a leaf-throwing party!), and Andy deserves ice cream for how well he did. ;)

Chris, Amanda, Molly, Cooper, & Rosemary

It has been raining for days and DAYS... I mean I'm kind of over it. We had to keep bumping this shoot because of it. Amanda was smart in checking the forecast - finally there was one day with a promise of sunshine, so we crossed our fingers and went for it. Thankfully - it didn't rain! :) This family is fun and their bright colors represented that (have I mentioned I LOVE bright colors?). The kids did great (even doing their own poses for me :)) and I hope they got lots of ice cream for it! ;)

Angela & Kale : 4 years

With the move, I was afraid I wouldn't get to do this session. It had become a tradition! I looked forward to this session every year - and when Angela and Kale (our next door neighbors and dear friends in KS) told us they were coming to visit us in Atlanta, I KNEW we had to make this happen. The timing was perfect, as they had just celebrated their 4-year anniversary. :) Kale was super stoked that I asked them to hike a bit for these photos - he just loves the outdoors. :) We had a beautiful evening and my family tagged along, too! I love taking photos of these two because they constantly make each other laugh - which means I get shots of genuine smiles and true joy. These two were made for each other... some might even say they go together like chips & salsa. ;)
