Big changes are ahead for me and my family. If by chance you aren't my "personal friend" on Facebook then you may not know...
I'm moving to Atlanta, GA!
My husband got an amazing job there... so I guess I'll follow him. :)
I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to all my past and current clients. Thank you for allowing me to explore a passion of mine. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of such special moments in your lives. Thank you for referring others to me. I have met so many wonderful people through my photography and have loved the moments you've all shared with me.
This isn't the end of Ginger Skillen Photography... I will continue on in Atlanta (though I'll take some time to help my family adjust to the transition first).
Will I be visiting Wichita?
Of course! My family is here, so I will be here when I can. Absolutely.
Will I do sessions when I am back home visiting?
Most likely, no. I'm so sorry... but I know that when I am back home, time with my family will be the most precious thing to me. At this point I don't picture myself wanting to leave for a bunch of shoots. If this changes or I make exceptions, I will let you all know. :)
I have to give a special thank you to my dear friend Gina. Geeeeena! Without you, I am confident I would not be where I am. Thank you for taking the time to teach me, to work with me, and to walk through this job with me. Thank you for seeing something in me (and telling me). I had always admired you and it has been a dream come true to work with you. I am so sad to think of wedding season coming up... because you and I? We rock wedding season. You're a phenomenal photographer and I know I will always aspire to be like you. You're an even more phenomenal friend. I love walking through life with you and I'm thankful that part won't change.
Thank you again... all of you. It is a scary thing to go after something you really love, and you have all helped me overcome my fears and encouraged me in my passion. Thank you.
See ya in the South! Or should I say "See y'all in the South"? :)
