Greg & Kelly

Gosh I love these two people. They are the kindest people you might ever meet. It meant so much to Joe and I that they drove 16 hours (one-way) to spend their vacation with us! Totally not planned, they decided to come with me for some back-to-back mini-sessions and snagged the first slot. :) Greg and Kelly are so in love (coming up on 4 years of marriage) and it's adorable. We had a blast taking their pictures, then they hiked while I had my other sessions. :)

Kale & Angela : 5 Years

I am so honored to have been able to take Angela and Kale's anniversary pictures every year that they've been married! Here are links to their 1 year, 2 year, 3 year, and 4 year pictures.
Like they did last year, Kale and Angela came to visit us in Atlanta! We love having them come, and it works out nicely to do their session while they're here. Now they can't ever NOT come in October... ha! :) We had a gorgeous evening - and the park we went to even had these awesome stick numbers hanging from a branch! I laughed until my sides hurt, but we managed to get a few good shots. ;)

Happy 5th Anniversary, you two!

Chris, Ginny, Emmalyn, Barret, & Nell

So many things come to mind when I think of this family. They are close friends and have been for years. It's crazy how much I love taking their pictures. It means so much to capture families in photographs, to "freeze" time in a season when little ones are changing so fast. This family is extra-special. Thanks, Ginny, for waiting for me to visit and for making a quick session work. :)

Joshua & Erin : 10 years

Joshua and Erin are some dear dear friends. Erin and I have known each other literally our entire lives. I remember when these two met, got engaged, and got married. It's SO hard to believe it's been 10 years! :) I loved being able to do a quick session with Joshua and Erin while I was visiting in Kansas this month. They are easy to photograph - they sweetly interact so naturally. It was fun to catch up with them and we had a beautiful evening for their session!

Happy 10 years, Joshua & Erin!

Chris, Ginny, Emmalyn, Barret, Nell, & Groot

I know, I said I wasn't doing any photo shoots over Thanksgiving break in Kansas. Buuuuut... I did one. :) It was kind of last minute and it just worked perfectly, so we went for it. I'm sorry to those of you who inquired and I told you no. I knew our visit would be brief, and it was filled with as much family time as we could squeeze in. There may be times when I'll offer a mini-session (or a few) when I'm in KS, so watch my Facebook page for those type of announcements.

Anywho, back to this session. I have taken pictures of this family since their first child was brand new. Now they have 3 sweet littles and one furry addition. I was pretty excited when they decided to bring Groot! He is a puppy (just a bit younger than our puppies) but he's HUGE! He did pretty well for being so young and so big! :)
Emmalyn was so sweet. As soon as she got out of the car she asked if I would be in their family pictures with them. Barret liked to scowl at me, then break into the biggest littlest smile (his cute little mouth!!!). Nell is SO adorable. She didn't love smiling at me, but she was SO chill and content! Oh yeah, Chris and Ginny did great, too. ;)

Here are a few of my favorites from their session!

Hailley : Senior

This shoot was quick but oh so fun! Hailley and her mom met me downtown for Hailley's shoot and the weather was great. They would say Hailley is a bit shy and reserved, but I say she's a natural in front of the camera - I mean look at that smile! :) Hailley loves to read and enjoys the snow... as you will soon see. Congrats to Hailley on her senior year and best of luck after graduation!

Here is her sneak peek!
