Liam : 3 months

It's hard to believe Liam is 3 months old!!!  I'm sure you also feel like it was just yesterday that we took his newborn pics!  We took his 3-month pics on Monday, but my week was so crazy I'm just now getting to post about them!

I got really excited when Lindsay talked to me about taking consistent pictures of Liam - that means I get to watch him grow and change, too!

Since it's still cold out, Lindsay and Liam came over to my house for their session.  I set up my backdrop and lighting downstairs and it felt like I had a little mini-studio. :) This was only my second shoot using my new stuff, so I was excited to use it.  I'm already SO much more comfortable with it!  Not gonna lie, I'd still choose to shoot outside any day, but I'm thankful I now have an indoor alternative! :)

Liam was super smily!  He did great!  He gave his mommy his first laugh on her birthday - what a gift!  I was honored that he chose to share his second laugh (and more) with me during his session!  He must like getting his picture taken!  He has the cutest laugh!  Even towards the end when he got a little fussy, it was nothing - I teased Lindsay because his "hard" cry is so sweet and quiet! :)

Here are some of my favorites from Monday - check out his CUTE smile!

Leighton is TWO & Welcome to Micah!

You may remember Leighton from this post - can you believe it's been a year??  Michele asked me to come take some pictures of Leighton just a few days before she turned two.  My how time flies!  Not only was I going to take pictures of Leighton, but her new little brother as well!!!  Michele and Chad welcomed Micah into their lives earlier than expected (he came at 36 weeks), but he is healthy and STRONG!  I'm not kidding you, this 4-week old baby knows how to roll over.  I saw it with my own two eyes!

It was so fun to meet little Micah and get to see Leighton again.  Michele and I like to have playdates, but with this crazy cold weather, and her having a new baby, it's been tough.  We're looking forward to spring!!

This was my first indoor session using a backdrop and off-camera lighting.  Michele is so laid back, she didn't hesitate to be my guinea pig.  Thanks, Chele! :)

Here are some of my faves from Saturday:

Okay, I'm sorry but I just HAD to put these in here... Leighton is one of the most active little girls I've met and I had a decent
number of shots from our session that looked like this (ha ha):

Okay, back to normal :)

Congratulations, Chad and Michele - you have a beautiful family of four!
