Oh the cuteness. Lindsay texted me before our shoot saying Caroline was set on wearing her Cinderella dress for family pictures. I said "why not?!" so Caroline, I mean Cinderella... joined our shoot for a bit (then happily changed into her other outfit :)). I let Cinderella show me where she wanted to stand and how she wanted to pose (she picked out her FAVORITE duck, so we had to include her in the picture). Adorable. Seriously - I'm inspired. The woods here in Atlanta are SO pretty... now I want to do some little mini-sessions of girls in their princess dresses in the woods, like a fairytale!
So, back to this shoot. Lindsay suggested the duck pond in Buckhead. It was beautiful! The perfect setting for their pictures. We had a gorgeous day for them, too.
I loved this shoot for many reasons. Lindsay coordinates the MOPS group I attend and I love how genuine she is. She likes to "keep it real" and this shoot was no different. With a potty break in the woods, a crying picture (which I LOVE), pine needles in a baby's face, a diaper blowout, and chasing a favorite duck, it was amazing. Rob was the calm presence, Lindsay made it all happen, Caroline was SO cute, and Cole was all smiles (until the dirty diaper got to him). :)

Chris, Ginny, Emmalyn, Barret, Nell, & Groot
I know, I said I wasn't doing any photo shoots over Thanksgiving break in Kansas. Buuuuut... I did one. :) It was kind of last minute and it just worked perfectly, so we went for it. I'm sorry to those of you who inquired and I told you no. I knew our visit would be brief, and it was filled with as much family time as we could squeeze in. There may be times when I'll offer a mini-session (or a few) when I'm in KS, so watch my Facebook page for those type of announcements.
Anywho, back to this session. I have taken pictures of this family since their first child was brand new. Now they have 3 sweet littles and one furry addition. I was pretty excited when they decided to bring Groot! He is a puppy (just a bit younger than our puppies) but he's HUGE! He did pretty well for being so young and so big! :)
Emmalyn was so sweet. As soon as she got out of the car she asked if I would be in their family pictures with them. Barret liked to scowl at me, then break into the biggest littlest smile (his cute little mouth!!!). Nell is SO adorable. She didn't love smiling at me, but she was SO chill and content! Oh yeah, Chris and Ginny did great, too. ;)
