Craig, Leah, & Kiddos

Has it really been a year since I took Leah and Craig's pictures last fall??  I guess so. :) Caleb, Claire, and Caitlin have all grown so much since then!!  Caleb seems almost as tall as me, Claire was so sweet and loved smiling for the camera, and Caitlin was running around and talking like such a big girl!!  We made a last minute location change thanks to random Kansas rain, but it worked out perfectly.  The kids did great (30-minute mini-sessions are great for little ones :)) and we had a lot of fun!

Angela & Kale : 2 years

Happy cotton anniversary to Angela and Kale!  Apparently it's been a year since I took their first year anniversary pics!  Crazy.  I love Angela's idea of taking a picture with a framed picture from the previous year. We had a gorgeous day... and I tell ya, these two make me laugh more than anyone else on a shoot. :)

Audra & Kasey : Engaged

I was so excited for this shoot!  Audra is one of Joe's cousins and I was (am) honored that she choose me to do their pictures!  The weather was CRAZY on Friday, so I was worried about Saturday, but it ended up being gorgeous out! :) Audra and Kasey are so cute... and silly.  I love the silliness.  You'll see it a bit below. :) Now I'm even more excited for June 2014!  Congrats you two!

Laura & Steve : Married

We had an absolutely gorgeous evening for Laura and Steve's wedding.  From the moment I arrived, I could sense the excitement and happiness.  I wonder if Laura's cheeks were sore the next day... she was smiling so big the entire evening. :) I loved that they had a small, intimate ceremony.  The people that mean the most to them (minus one I think) were there, and their love and support was evident.  Steve couldn't seem to take his eyes off of Laura, and he wasn't alone!  She was glowing.  It was a beautiful ceremony... relaxed and yet so full of joy.  I was honored to be a part of their evening.  Congratulations, Laura and Steve!  I'm so happy for you!

Scotty : 18 months

Oh my goodness.  I could just eat his cheeks.  Seriously... you'll see.  Scotty is just too cute!  Thanks to a mild fall so far, we had gorgeous weather for his mini-session.  His mom, Becky, came prepared - she knows what makes him smile and what gets him to stop go-go-going for a few seconds! :) Scotty brought his rock collection.  How cute is it that he has a rock collection and he won't be two until March?! :) Scotty loved running around outside and chasing bubbles while Becky and I chased him.

David & Taylor : Married

David and Taylor got hitched!  Taylor was a gorgeous bride - and she was so relaxed!  David's excitement was evident - he couldn't wait to call Taylor his wife.  You may remember David and Taylor (and their furry children) here. As they celebrated their vows, they're celebrating a new addition coming at the end of February - their first baby!!  Taylor's baby bump was absolutely adorable in her dress.  The wedding was in Derby at the Round Barn Ranch - such a beautiful location!!  It was a windy day, but other than that the weather was perfect.  They said their vows as the sun was setting over the fields nearby... and we had amazing light for pictures afterwards.  The barbecue was AH-mazing (yes, Dave, it's the BEST), and with cake and a popcorn/candy bar, everyone's sweet tooth was satisfied.  I don't think there was a dry eye in the barn when Taylor danced with her Papa (me included).  It was an incredible day and two incredible people are now husband and wife.  Congrats Taylor and David!
