Brooks, Lindsey, & Kids

This shoot was so fun. I had a cancellation the day before and Lindsey happened to contact me that day - I'm so impressed she was willing to schedule a shoot the NEXT day! It goes without saying, but look how beautiful this family is! Lindsey and Brooks have Woody (4) and Gaines (2). They just added a sweet baby girl one month ago - Mae Stanley! The boys were so cute - they kept making me laugh! They were a little unsure of holding Miss Mae Stanley, but they were so gentle and sweet with her! It was an honor taking their first pictures as a family of five!

Dorothy

This toddler is adorable! I was so thankful we were able to do her session on this morning, because the light was gorgeous. Dorothy was on the move - I love how curious she was! It was so sweet how she carried her "lamby" everywhere with her. My favorite part of our session was when her mom, Aimee, played peek-a-boo with Dorothy and made her laugh and squeal.

WAPOM 2014

WAPOM stands for Wichita Area Parents Of Multiples. This is the third year I have had the honor of partnering with them to take family portraits. We had some last-minute cancellations, but we still had two families join us! We had a beautiful setting, and it wasn't TOO cold! :) The kids did great - we kept it short and sweet. :)

David, Taylor, & Slade

This family is so much fun. I laugh so much during their shoots! I love that they've allowed me to be a part of their journey through life. Marriage, baby, etc. This shoot was a fall shoot that included some hilarious Christmas card pics (those are secret - perhaps I'll post them after Christmas). :) David's parents were generous enough to let us use their house for our shoot (it was SO cold outside) and it is beautiful. The natural light inside was giving me a bit of a photographer-high (is that a thing?). We did take a couple pictures outside - the snow was so pretty! My favorite part of the day was Slade in his Packers jersey!! Go Pack!

Casey, Angie, Lena, & Claire

I was so excited to see this family! I consider them dear friends, but unfortunately I hadn't seen them since last year for Lena's one-year pics! Now Lena is an older sister - to sweet baby Claire. :) Claire slept through the whole session, and Lena said "cheese" a hundred times in her cute little voice. We wanted to get a sister picture, and Lena is so cute and tiny that she had a hard time holding Claire - but we got it! :)

Brenna : 6 months

I know time flies, but wasn't she just born?? It's crazy that her newborn session was 6 months ago... Rochelle and Zack are rocking the whole parenting thing and finding their groove. Brenna is so cute and squishy! :) She is getting good at sitting up by herself (apparently that started just a few days before this session - perfect timing!). Normally Brenna is all smiles, but she missed her morning nap the day of our session and wasn't too happy about it. Not to worry - we met up another day and got a few of her precious happy face. :)

David, Taylor, & Slade - 3 months

It means so much to me that David and Taylor have chosen to let me kind of walk through life with them... through taking pictures. First, their wedding. Then when they were pregnant with Slade, then at the hospital just hours after his arrival, and then Slade's newborn pictures. I completely enjoy being able to watch Slade grow and watch David and Taylor as they love on their son. This past weekend we got together for some updated family pictures. Slade is only 3 months old, but he's already changed so much! :) It was hot and humid, but the evening was beautiful and we had a great shoot! Slade did great... until the very end. :) As you'll see, he's still cute even when he's crying. :)

Henry, Ethan, & Baby Kennedy

These three kids are so cute! Henry is 5, Ethan is 2, and sweet little Kennedy is 10 weeks old. Henry and Ethan are enthralled with their little sister and are so sweet with her! We met up at a nature center for our shoot. I was worried the wind would blow us away, but as soon as we started shooting it died down! It was a beautiful evening and all three kids did great! Brandy and Jared, you should be very proud! I enjoyed meeting you!
