You saw pics from Kamdyn's party (if you didn't just scroll down), but yesterday we did her "official" one-year photo shoot. So fun! Krista let me bring Avery, so that was helpful - and she enjoyed playing with Eli's trains. :) Kamdyn is so full of personality! She is always smiling, squealing, and showing her joy with every inch of her body. I just followed her around as she played and got pictures of her as she played. One of the funniest things is that she LOVES to take her sock off, stick it in her mouth, and keep it there as she plays! :)

Happy Birthday, Kamdyn!

Kamdyn is ONE!!
Some of you may remember Kamdyn from this post back in July when I took pictures of her whole family. This time, it was all about her... it was her party, and she could cry if she wanted to - but she didn't! :) She had a blast - and I'm pretty sure her favorite thing was the cake. She didn't hold back at all! Krista (mommy) even made props for people to take pictures with - SO fun!
Here are a few of my faves from Friday night:
Such fun decor!
The proud parents :)
After Kamdyn devored her cupcake, she proceeded to rub the remaining crumbs all over her tummy - it was adorable!!
I even joined in on the fun at the end of the night!

Connie, Curtis, and Family
When Connie contacted me about doing a photo session, my mind was instantly flooded with memories from elementary school. Ah, good times... her son Tyler was in my class in grade school, and his younger sister Taryn was one of my sister's closest friends then, as well.
It was fun to see Tyler and Taryn again - and though I'm all "grown up" and married with my own kid, honestly it took me a second to grasp that they could be old enough for those things as well... ha ha. Tyler is married to Carrie, they have a son named Mason (2yrs old), and they just welcomed twins (boy-Grant, girl-Avery) into the world 5 weeks ago! Taryn is married to Adam. That one is the hardest to grasp... last thing I knew Taryn was over at our house playing barbies with my sister! :)
You've probably heard me mention this before, but my forte is shooting outdoors. Natural light and me are best buds. I get nervous whenever I have to shoot indoors... so I was relieved when Connie's house had a lot of natural light! I appreciate her taking a leap of faith and using me... each time I learn a little bit more, so thanks Connie. I do hope I can take your family outside in the future!

Getting two newborns dressed and ready is quite the chore! :)
