Bridget : Senior

Bridget is the sweetest girl - and I'm pretty sure if I were 10 (okay 15) years younger, we would be BFFs. :) She has a beautiful smile and is so easy-going! It was super windy yesterday, but Bridget never complained. She was up for anything! We had some interesting aspects to our shoot... LOUD trains, sharp cacti, and did I mention the wind?? We still had a great session. Bridget and I have the same favorite car - the VW van. Seriously, BFFs. We learned this when we saw one drive by us at the park and we both got excited! Soooo... naturally, we had to take a picture with it. :)

Congrats on ALMOST being done with high school, Bridget! Good luck with college!

Andrew, Jenn, & Cole (2 years old)

I can't believe Cole is about to turn TWO! The last time I took pictures of him, he was only 7 months old! Andrew and Jenn have their hands full - Cole is busy busy! He's so fun to watch, though! He points and runs after each new thing he sees. :) We chased him around and let him "choose" our shooting spots. :) It was so cute - apparently Cole knew I was taking pictures after nap and refused to sleep during nap time. He kept saying "Ginger, Avery, Ezra" in his cute little voice, over and over. :) He did great in spite of missing nap time!

Brenna : New Arrival

This tiny one is so beautiful! You may remember Rochelle and Zack from their wedding. Now they are a family of THREE! Rochelle and Zack didn't find out what they were having (so fun!!), so when they asked me to do their newborn pictures, I didn't know if we'd be photographing a boy or a girl! Little Brenna Elizabeth wasn't so little - 9lbs 7oz! She is absolutely adorable, though. She was a perfect angel for our session today - she slept the whole time! Thanks to Mama for filling her belly right before pictures. :) I tell ya, I could take pictures of little tiny babies all day... I have to make myself stop shooting! Brenna with her chunky cheeks, full head of gorgeous hair, and cute little bow about did me in. Almost gave me baby fever... almost. Ha ha.

Congrats Rochelle and Zack! You are 6 days in and already amazing parents!

Trevor : Senior

I know this guy (and his family) because they're our neighbors! Trevor has three brothers and one sister, but this is his time in the spotlight - because he's a SENIOR! :) His mom (Laura) and I rescheduled his session because of major wind, and I'm so glad we did. We had a beautiful evening! We headed downtown for the first half of his session, and found some great spots. Then we headed to a park (after running by his house to pick up forgotten shoes ;)). Trevor is going to Newman next year as a Theatre major. I can tell he is going to do an amazing job! I'm pretty sure I learned more about movies during our one-hour session than I had known prior! Trevor was so much fun - he was up for anything. Laura was great at getting "real" smiles and laughs. :)

Andrea, Kolin, Joseph, & Elizabeth

Andrea, Kolin, and their two kids are awesome. They showed me a great new spot for shoots, were willing to go anywhere, and were excited for pictures! :) Joseph and Elizabeth are three years apart, yet you can tell how close they are. It gives me hope for my two littles to be best friends when they get older! We had a great shoot with lots of laughter... and I end the shoot laughing at myself. I locked my keys in my car! Andrea and Kolin immediately offered to take me home - SO generous! It was fun to get to know them a bit more on our (long) drive home. I appreciated it so much!

Slade : New Arrival Pt. 2

This beautiful baby boy is already awesome. I mean, he had the blessing of being born a Packers fan (with a newborn helmet to boot)! (Sorry Taylor ;)) Seriously, though - as I've gotten to know Taylor and Dave (here is their wedding, their maternity pictures, and their hospital pictures) I know that little Slade is going to be amazing. His parents are so in love with him, and they have that adorable new-parent sleep-deprived glow. :) Slade and his parents came over to my house for a newborn session... and Slade decided he had NO intentions of sleeping for us. :) We tried everything... but he didn't want to miss anything! He finally cashed out as they were preparing to leave. :) We still got some great shots - and he's my first newborn to NOT pee or poop the whole time he was bare-bottomed!
