Ginny, Chris, and Baby

I know you'll find it hard to believe, but one of my dearest friends doesn't care for pictures.  Now, Ginny appreciates photography and at least pretends to understand why I get so excited about taking pictures... but when it comes to photos of herself, it's another story. :) I offered suggested insisted that I take some belly pictures of her and her hubby before Baby comes... and perhaps to pacify me, she let me.  I was literally giddy throughout the shoot... she'll tell ya.

Anywho... I grew up with Chris and when he met Ginny I knew we would be friends.  We have shared many seasons of life together, so it was a true joy to take pictures of Ginny and her growing belly.

Here are a few of my faves!
I'm so excited for you two and I can't wait to meet Baby S!!!!

Brian, Krista, Eli, and Kamdyn

This summer, right before we left for vacation, I got to take pictures of my friend Krista and her adorable family.  Brian and Krista are still so sweetly in love, and Eli and Kamdyn have awesome little personalities!  Eli studies everything and is always thinking; Kamdyn is carefree, bubbly, and happy-go-lucky.  They make an awesome pair of siblings!  One of my favorite pictures (as you'll see below) is when we were trying to get Kamdyn to sit up next to Eli... and he was not having it!

Though it took a while with summer craziness, here's (finally) a sneak peek:

Laura & Mike's Wedding

I met Laura through a friend and was so excited to hear she was engaged to the love of her life, Mike!  I was honored when she asked me to photograph their special day.  Laura works at a nearby university, so we got to take some pictures there - gorgeous setting!  It was evident to all how in love Laura and Mike were and awesome to see the support from family and friends.  Congrats and blessings on your marriage, Laura and Mike!

Here are a few of my favorites from their day:

Mom Makeover

I got the wonderful opportunity to be a part of an outreach that my church did.  We reached out to a single mom that lives in the apartments near our church and offered her a free makeover.  Our pastor (my hubby :)) took her kids out to a movie while my sister, a stylist at Mary Kate & Co, gave her a new look.  We then took her and her kiddos out for dinner.  I documented it for the mom as well as our church.  It was great getting to know her and her kids!

Katie & Micah's Engagement Pics

Remember when I got to be a part of Micah's proposal to Katie?  SO exciting!  Almost as exciting as when they asked me to take their engagement pictures!!  I was honored.  What an amazing couple - their story is incredible and a true testimony to God's faithfulness.  We had such a great time - we braved the heat and the humidty, and it was worth it!

I never had to tell them "act like you love each other" - it was NOT a problem!  These two are SO ready to be married!  Ha ha.  One of the places we went had such high humidty that we were being swarmed with bugs, but you'll see that Katie and Micah weren't phased at all!

Micah and Katie thought it would be funny to do some "cheesy" poses similar to pictures they had seen... so those are mixed in.  Hope you can tell the cheesy ones from the legit ones!!

Congrats once again Katie and Micah - I can't wait for your wedding!!!!

I love you two!!!!
