Tyson

I was so excited when my dear friend Kristy asked me to do this shoot. Kristy has been a long-time friend, and she was pregnant with her first child when she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. Now that precious baby was turning ONE - so she asked me to take some pics of her son, Tyson. We had a blast - and Tyson did wonderful! He even took a little tumble while trying to get a shot - and still gave me toothy smiles! Here are a few of my favorites:

Schiffner Family

When Joe and I first got married, we moved into a cute little 2-bedroom apartment. Little did we know that we were living right above another couple (married 2 weeks after us) that would become great friends of ours! Sam & Nikia are still dear friends of ours and now we both have kiddos - their son Isaiah is 2 months older than Avery. :)

Anywho, back in the day Nikia's family came into town and I had the privilege of capturing some of their visit. Thanks, Nikia - your family was a joy to work with!

Aaron & Cassy

My first "professional" photo shoot just happened to be of my best friend (oh yeah - and sister :)) Cassy, and her fiance (now husband) Aaron.

They graciously allowed me to use them as guinea pigs as I explored my love and hobby. We headed downtown and had a blast! They were so fun to shoot - they were up for anything, even laying on the cold brick!

It was a joy watching them interact - their deep love for each other was beyond evident.
