Brian, Kelly, & Kids

I recently met Kelly through homeschooling and the hybrid school Ezra goes to. Her son Braden seems to always be smiling! It was fun to meet the rest of the family - Brian, Sedona, and Daniel (and their dog Konda - not sure if I spelled that right), too! I loved that they came ready to hike in their hiking clothes. I feel like their pictures represent the "normal" day-to-day and that is so precious. One of my favorite shots is one of Kelly - smiling so sweetly as her children were climbing all over her.

My kids were bummed that I got to see Teo and they didn't. I tried to tell them it wasn't all fun and games... but we did have a good time on this shoot! Cat invited her parents to join in (they're staying with them for a while) and I'm so glad they came. Teo was such a good listener - and was willing to put off kicking dirt until we finished. ;)

Brooks, Lindsey, & Kids

This shoot was so fun. I had a cancellation the day before and Lindsey happened to contact me that day - I'm so impressed she was willing to schedule a shoot the NEXT day! It goes without saying, but look how beautiful this family is! Lindsey and Brooks have Woody (4) and Gaines (2). They just added a sweet baby girl one month ago - Mae Stanley! The boys were so cute - they kept making me laugh! They were a little unsure of holding Miss Mae Stanley, but they were so gentle and sweet with her! It was an honor taking their first pictures as a family of five!

Greg & Kelly

Gosh I love these two people. They are the kindest people you might ever meet. It meant so much to Joe and I that they drove 16 hours (one-way) to spend their vacation with us! Totally not planned, they decided to come with me for some back-to-back mini-sessions and snagged the first slot. :) Greg and Kelly are so in love (coming up on 4 years of marriage) and it's adorable. We had a blast taking their pictures, then they hiked while I had my other sessions. :)
