Rochelle & Zack : Married!

I honestly don't know if I've ever seen a bride as giddy as Rochelle was on her wedding day.  She was SO excited!  Her excitement was contagious, and the joy she and Zack shared overflowed to their wedding party and guests.  It was a happy day, to put it mildly!  I enjoyed how laid back everyone was... and I really enjoyed that my sister was my assistant/second shooter!  Rochelle and Zack, congratulations and thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!  I hope you're enjoying your honeymoon/missions trip!

Chad, Michele, Leighton & Micah : Family

I have no idea how many times we had to reschedule this mini-session... but we FINALLY got it done!  You saw one part of it here where we shot Micah's one-year pics.  We wanted some of the whole family, and I'm happy to say we now have some!

We actually had our session on Monday... thanks to life's craziness, I'm just now getting this sneak peek posted... sigh.

I had to post a couple that are silly... because they show the true fun nature of this family (and the challenge of getting two kids to smile at once - ha!).  I think we got some "real" ones, too, Chele - ha ha!

Ashlyn : Senior

We had an absolutely beautiful evening for Ashlyn's shoot.  We had rescheduled because of storm damage following the crazy weekend of tornadoes, so I'm glad this worked out.  She's the cutest little thing!  She has a smile that I know lights up any room she's in.  She introduced me to a couple of new spots and we got some great shots.

Maddie : Senior Part 2

You may remember Maddie from the first half of her session here.  We did the second half yesterday, and had a beautiful day for it!!  The weather forecast was NOT looking good, so I was anticipating having to reschedule... I'm so glad we didn't have to!

Maddie, thanks for being willing to try some silly things, and early congrats on graduation!  Enjoy your last month of high school!

Jeff, Danielle, Josie, and Baby

Jeff and Danielle are dear friends to my husband and me.  We've known each other most of our married lives, and it's been fun to walk through life with them.  They have a beautiful daughter (Josie) who is a year older than Avery, so I get a sneak peek at what our life will look like a year from now. :) Now, they are expecting a baby boy in July!  They moved to another state (sigh) but are visiting for Easter Weekend, so I was excited when Danielle asked me to take some family pictures for them.

Joe, Avery, and Ezra joined me on a shoot for the first time - so we could all see each other.  We had fun walking around downtown and catching up!

Josie LOVES to pose - she cracks me up!  My favorite shot of her was a candid I just happened to catch, though. :)

Love you guys - can't wait to meet your baby boy!!

Kasey : Senior

Today I had to keep telling myself that it's still March.  Seriously, it was 80 degrees today!  It ended up being the perfect day for Kasey's senior pics.  Kasey is a football player at Rose Hill High and they won state this year (yay!) so we headed to his home turf to start our session.

Kasey (and mom Sheri) willingly walked what seemed like miles to get the shots we wanted.  He wanted me to think that he's serious all the time... I'm sure his friends would tell me different. :) Thankfully mom knew what buttons to push to get some smiles!

Kasey, it was great meeting you!  Early congrats on graduation and good luck as you enter the next phase of life - COLLEGE! :)

Rochelle & Zack : Engaged!

Oh my goodness today was beautiful!!  It was a perfect day to take engagement pictures of a beautiful couple - Rochelle and Zack.  These two were so cute - they're so in love and you can tell they're meant to be together.  They are both super tall, so I had to adjust my posing just to see their faces at times - ha ha.  My cheeks hurt after our session from smiling with them!

Rochelle and Zack will be getting married this summer - congrats you two!!
