David, Taylor, & Slade - 3 months

It means so much to me that David and Taylor have chosen to let me kind of walk through life with them... through taking pictures. First, their wedding. Then when they were pregnant with Slade, then at the hospital just hours after his arrival, and then Slade's newborn pictures. I completely enjoy being able to watch Slade grow and watch David and Taylor as they love on their son. This past weekend we got together for some updated family pictures. Slade is only 3 months old, but he's already changed so much! :) It was hot and humid, but the evening was beautiful and we had a great shoot! Slade did great... until the very end. :) As you'll see, he's still cute even when he's crying. :)

Henry, Ethan, & Baby Kennedy

These three kids are so cute! Henry is 5, Ethan is 2, and sweet little Kennedy is 10 weeks old. Henry and Ethan are enthralled with their little sister and are so sweet with her! We met up at a nature center for our shoot. I was worried the wind would blow us away, but as soon as we started shooting it died down! It was a beautiful evening and all three kids did great! Brandy and Jared, you should be very proud! I enjoyed meeting you!

Brian & Krista

For their anniversary, Krista gave Brian a year of monthly date nights, and this month was a couples photo shoot with me! You probably aren't used to seeing Brian and Krista without their four cute kiddos running circles around them - I wasn't, either. :) This shoot was so fun! Brian and Krista are silly and constantly make each other laugh. They are super cute (can you believe they have 4 kids??)! You can tell they still enjoy each other throughout the craziness of having 4 kids in 4 years. :) This shoot made me want to do a shoot with just my hubby! :) We started downtown, then went by a high school soccer field (Brian's "second home") for some pictures on the bleachers before heading to a park. Brian makes the craziest faces, and they were captured throughout our shoot. I put one here for your viewing pleasure. :)

Lance, Hollie, & Emree

Oh. My. Gosh. Little Emree is beyond adorable! She has the cutest chubby cheeks and is so smiley! Lance and Hollie  have been long-time friends and I was ecstatic to be able to take their pictures. Emree acted like a little model. She gave me her beautiful toothless smile at the drop of a hat, and she looked right at my camera! Emree is about 5.5 months old and I seriously couldn't get enough of her. Hollie and Lance, you have a beautiful daughter!

Sarah : Senior

Sarah is full of joy. You can tell the moment you meet her. Her joy overflows - and she doesn't stop smiling. :) I'm glad one of her teachers recommended me, because I had so much fun taking these pictures! We had perfect weather for Sarah's shoot - though downtown was crazy busy because of a concert at the arena! Sarah was willing to walk in HIGH heels (or barefoot) everywhere I took her (which was all over)! We ended our day at the park with beautiful light. She brought along her close friend Morgan and we took some shots with the two of them, as well! We almost got pooped on by birds (twice), walked through broken glass, got screeched at by birds while walking through stickers, and rolled a few ankles... but we got some great shots!

Sarah - it was a joy taking your pictures. Congrats on graduating and good luck in this next season of life!

Valerie & Her Boys

The weather didn't want this shoot to happen! We had to reschedule once - and almost had to again. Wednesday was supposed to be stormy and we couldn't tell when it was going to hit! I'm glad we braved the wind and gave it a shot. The weather ended up being great, aside from the bit of wind! :) Valerie and Isaac have have the cutest boys - Ian and Nolan. Ian was hesitant to smile... until ice cream was mentioned! Then he willingly gave me his "ice cream smile." :) Nolan is a mover! He wasn't really into being still or having his picture taken, but if I sang "the wheels on the bus" he would freeze for a few seconds and I would shoot like crazy! :) I hope the boys enjoyed their ice cream treat - they deserved it!

Bridget : Senior

Bridget is the sweetest girl - and I'm pretty sure if I were 10 (okay 15) years younger, we would be BFFs. :) She has a beautiful smile and is so easy-going! It was super windy yesterday, but Bridget never complained. She was up for anything! We had some interesting aspects to our shoot... LOUD trains, sharp cacti, and did I mention the wind?? We still had a great session. Bridget and I have the same favorite car - the VW van. Seriously, BFFs. We learned this when we saw one drive by us at the park and we both got excited! Soooo... naturally, we had to take a picture with it. :)

Congrats on ALMOST being done with high school, Bridget! Good luck with college!
