Ryan, Brie, & Boys

Can families have soul mates? If so, this family is my family's soul mate. :) We have journeyed through so much life with them, and we are better for it. Ryan, Brie, Kenan, Micah, and Ryker also happen to make up one of the most beautiful families I know. ;) I was excited to grab some pictures of them while we hung out one night. They have a gorgeous field near their house, and it worked out perfectly. :) It was hot, but the kids did great. I love how Ryan and Brie are so cute and obviously still head over heels in love. :)

It was super hard to narrow these down to my favorites... but here are a few:

Adam, Becky, & Kids

This family is so dear to me and to my family. They are incredibly beautiful, both inside and out. They were in town so we got together for dinner, and I grabbed a few pictures of them while we were at it. It poured on us right when we started, but thankfully just for a minute. Then it cleared up and we had some pretty light. :)

Tyson, Valerie, Bridget, Grayson, Lana, & Stella

This family is so fun! They are super adorable, too. Valerie asked me to take family pictures for them - in between Bridget returning from Paris (!!) and leaving for college (!). I love that she wanted captured memories of their family before sending her daughter off to college. :) We had fun - they were all great in the midst of the heat. Congrats and good luck to Bridget AND her family! :)

Audra & Kasey : Married

Audra and Kasey tied the knot in June! You may remember them from their engagement session here. This wedding was fun for so many reasons! I got to see a good number of family members, my sister got to be my second shooter, and (of course) most of all - Audra and Kasey became husband and wife! The bright pink Audra picked popped with her dress and the tuxes. She also picked an amazing park for outdoor pics - I'm so glad we went even though it was hot! :) The ceremony was beautiful, the park was amazing, the reception was fun, and the food was wonderful. :) I'm so happy for Kasey and Audra! Thanks for allowing me to share your special day with you - congrats and best wishes for this new journey!

David, Taylor, & Slade - 3 months

It means so much to me that David and Taylor have chosen to let me kind of walk through life with them... through taking pictures. First, their wedding. Then when they were pregnant with Slade, then at the hospital just hours after his arrival, and then Slade's newborn pictures. I completely enjoy being able to watch Slade grow and watch David and Taylor as they love on their son. This past weekend we got together for some updated family pictures. Slade is only 3 months old, but he's already changed so much! :) It was hot and humid, but the evening was beautiful and we had a great shoot! Slade did great... until the very end. :) As you'll see, he's still cute even when he's crying. :)

Henry, Ethan, & Baby Kennedy

These three kids are so cute! Henry is 5, Ethan is 2, and sweet little Kennedy is 10 weeks old. Henry and Ethan are enthralled with their little sister and are so sweet with her! We met up at a nature center for our shoot. I was worried the wind would blow us away, but as soon as we started shooting it died down! It was a beautiful evening and all three kids did great! Brandy and Jared, you should be very proud! I enjoyed meeting you!
