Taylor

My dear friend Kristy, who I've mentioned earlier (I took her son's 1-year pics), had her second child - a beautiful girl named Taylor. I was so excited when she asked me to come over and take some newborn pics of her! Taylor was and is a gorgeous little girl. I'm blessed to have Kristy and her family as friends.

Georgie & Bryan

My first wedding... Georgie heard about me and decided that she and Bryan were willing to be guinea pigs for me! I was nervous (though I didn't tell them that at the time!), but both Bryan and Georgie were WONDERFUL to work with. They were so thoughtful - they gave me grace when it took me a while to adjust my settings and they understood when I would re-take a picture. I look back now and realize just how unprepared I was... but they liked their pictures, and that's what matters! They got married at St. Cecilia Church and had the reception at a "dressed-up" barn nearby. The fall colors were beautiful! The weather was perfect - not too chilly! It was a fun day and a joy to see Georgie and Bryan become husband and wife!

DJ

DJ is the son Dena, who used to work for my dad. They invited me out to their property to take DJ's senior pictures. We had a great time - I loved meeting all their animals! Here are a few from the day:

Perkins Family

Lawrence & Jaque Perkins are long-time friends of my family. Their kids, Kristin and Casey, grew up with my sister and I. At the time of this shoot, Casey had recently gotten married to Angie. I was excited to take some family pics for them. It was a cold and windy day, but the Perkins were troopers! I think we got a few good ones in the midst of teeth chattering!

Josh & Erin

Erin and I have a fun history. Our parents were in lamaze together! We were born 3 days apart, just a few doors down from each other in the hospital. We've been friends ever since! We grew up together, even sharing some birthday parties. I was SOOO excited when Erin & Josh got together! Both were and are such dear friends. I was almost just as thrilled when they asked me to take their engagement pictures. We had a great time - I saw true love in action when Erin killed a spider for Josh so he would get in place for a picture! Here are some of my favorites.

Tyson

I was so excited when my dear friend Kristy asked me to do this shoot. Kristy has been a long-time friend, and she was pregnant with her first child when she was a bridesmaid in my wedding. Now that precious baby was turning ONE - so she asked me to take some pics of her son, Tyson. We had a blast - and Tyson did wonderful! He even took a little tumble while trying to get a shot - and still gave me toothy smiles! Here are a few of my favorites:

Schiffner Family

When Joe and I first got married, we moved into a cute little 2-bedroom apartment. Little did we know that we were living right above another couple (married 2 weeks after us) that would become great friends of ours! Sam & Nikia are still dear friends of ours and now we both have kiddos - their son Isaiah is 2 months older than Avery. :)

Anywho, back in the day Nikia's family came into town and I had the privilege of capturing some of their visit. Thanks, Nikia - your family was a joy to work with!
